As they said, this State of Play was about updating us on a number of PS4/PlayStation VR titles and giving us updates on a few PS5 games.
It started with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. We found out that the game will start on N.Sanity beach, the game will have no microtransactions however it will have skins and the game will have Dingodile as a playable character (in addition to the already announced Crash, Coco and Dr. Neo Cortex).
The game has inverted mode, which changes the perspective but also the art style that changes the look and feel of the experience. One example was a black and white world, another is an old-school style stop motion game style and there was also a neon world shown off.
Hitman III will include a PlayStation VR mode, which is interesting given the nature of the game. You will be able to the play entire trilogy using PlayStation VR.
We got to see the first Bugsnax gameplay footage. It looks like it’s a first-person explorer, where you need to find a series of Bug/Snack combinations.
It was announced at this morning’s State of Play, that the Pokemon-like PC smash hit Temtem is coming to PlayStation 5. The game will release in 2021 and come with full multiplayer support.
Control’s Alan Wake DLC titled ‘AWE’ will release on August 27th.
It’s been long awaited after it’s Oculus Quest exclusive release, and Vader Immortal will finally be coming to PlayStation VR on August 25th.

We got an length gameplay demo for The Pathless, which is a PS5 game that is coming in 2020. The game is an open-world adventure with no map, there’s an eagle that you can pet and it looks really cool!
We got a brand new look at Spelunky 2 which will have online multiplayer and an updated shop. It’s coming out on September 15th.
