New DualShock Attachment for you PS4 Controller Update!

Updated: Dec 20, 2019

UPDATED 20/12/19

Release in Australia on February 14th For $49.95. So much better than having to spend $150 - $200 on a new controller to get the same functionality.

Sony has announced the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment.

It will add additional functionality to three new buttons. The accessory will release on January 23rd in America and February 14th in Europe.

The attachment includes two responsive back buttons that will let you set up to 16 different functions to each button. OLED screen acts a button that will display information such as which functions you have paired to each button. You can still access the wired 3.5mm headset through this accessory as well. It’s not clear if the DualShock 5 will have similar functionality built in or if this will also work with that controller.

Responsive Back buttons and high-fidelity OLED screen: The two back buttons can map up to 16 different actions such as triangle, circle, R1 and R2 to name a few and provide amazing tactile feedback, so you can jump and slide without missing a beat. The attachment also features an integrated OLED display that provides real time information around button assignments.

Highly configurable: A dedicated button allows you to remap back button inputs on the fly, so you are always prepared no matter what game you’re playing. Furthermore, you can save and choose up to three different profiles for use in various games and there is also a headset pass-through for connecting any 3.5mm wired headset to the controller.

Developed by PlayStation: The product is tested and approved for all of your favourite PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR titles, and is built with the ergonomics of the Dualshock 4 in mind.
