Japanese Nintendo reported that Nintendo has stopped production on all of the Nintendo 3DS consoles.
In a statement to Gamesindustry.biz Nintendo confirmed that the 3DS has ended production.
“We can confirm that the manufacturing of the Nintendo 3DS family of systems has ended”.
The Nintendo 3DS launched in 2011 I still remember the day one pickup of this great handheld! it sold 384 million units. Nintendo took the stance that they’d continue to support the 3DS early in on the Nintendo Switch’s life, however there has been no first party game in over 18 months.
