
Capcom did a fantastic job this year with the release of the Resident Evil 2 Remake. It was the game nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2019.
In a recent interview with Famitsu [translated by Siliconera], game producers Peter Fabiano and Masao Kawada talked a little about the plans for RE 3 Remake, what we can expect from the 2020 release.
Sadly there wasnt much more than a yes, things will be different from the original, but it’s a safe bet to assume they’ll be using the success of Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Resident Evil 2 Remake did changes some of the gameplay mechanics to make it a much more modern experience. We can probably expect something similar with Resident Evil 3 Remake. We do know there’s a multiplayer game within the title, for example.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis originally released in 1999, and the story follows series staple, Jill Valentine, as she attempts to escape the T-Virus outbreak.
Resident Evil 3 is set to release on PlayStation 4 on April 3, 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
